Murv Automation LLC ("Murv Automation," "we," "us," or "our") builds websites and business automation systems for home-service and trade businesses such as plumbers, handymen, and contractors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to murvautomation.com, our forms, chat, phone and text messaging, email, booking tools, and the services we provide to clients (together, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who this policy covers
- Prospects and visitors — people who visit our website, fill out a form, book a call, or contact us.
- Clients — businesses (and their owners and staff) that hire us to build websites or automations.
- Our clients' customers — people who interact with a website, form, chat, booking page, or messaging system we built or operate for one of our clients. See Section 6 for how this works.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing or service address.
- Information you share in forms, chats, calls, texts, emails, and appointment bookings, such as the service you need and your project details.
- Client business information: logos, photos, service lists, pricing, reviews, website content, and account access you provide so we can build and run your systems.
- Billing information. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and the date and time of visits.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep forms and chat working, measure site performance, and understand how visitors find us.
- Communication records: call recordings (where permitted and disclosed), message logs, and email engagement (such as opens and clicks).
Information from other sources
- Publicly available business information (for example, business listings and websites) that we may use to contact businesses about our Services.
- Information from connected tools you authorize, such as your calendar, email inbox, or review profiles.
3. How we use information
- To provide, build, host, maintain, and support websites and automations, including lead capture, email handling, scheduling, reminders, follow-ups, and reporting.
- To respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and communicate with you by phone, text, and email.
- To send service-related messages, and — only with your consent where required — marketing messages.
- To bill for Services and manage our business relationship with clients.
- To improve, test, secure, and troubleshoot our Services.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
Use of artificial intelligence
Some of our automations use artificial-intelligence services (for example, to draft email replies, summarize inquiries, categorize leads, or pull information from documents). When we do, the relevant content is sent to the AI provider only to perform that task. We choose providers whose terms do not permit them to use this data to train their public models where that option is available, and we do not use AI to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Text messaging (SMS) and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all categories of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.
If you provide your phone number and opt in, you may receive text messages from us about your inquiry, appointments, and our Services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. See the SMS section of our Terms & Conditions for full program details.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run the Services, such as our CRM and marketing platform (HighLevel / LeadConnector), website hosting, phone and SMS carriers, email delivery, payment processors, calendar tools, and AI service providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Our clients — when you contact one of our clients through a system we operate, your information goes to that business (see Section 6).
- Legal and safety — to comply with law, legal process, or government requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Murv Automation, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
6. Information we process for our clients
When we build or run a website, form, chat, booking page, or messaging system for a client business, the information that business's customers submit belongs to that business. In that role we act as a service provider, processing it only on the client's instructions and to deliver our Services. If you are a customer of one of our clients, that business's own privacy policy governs how it uses your information, and requests about that data should be directed to the business. We will help our clients respond to such requests.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function, and analytics tools to understand site traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how forms, chat, or booking tools work. Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When a client relationship ends, we delete or return client data within a reasonable time unless we are required to keep it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including access controls and reputable hosting providers, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message.
- Access, correction, and deletion: contact us using the details below. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law.
California residents
Depending on applicable thresholds, California law may give you the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it); to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. Under California's "Shine the Light" law, you may ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we do not.
11. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links and platforms
Our websites and messages may link to or integrate with third-party sites and services (such as review sites, social media, maps, and payment pages). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and, where required, notify you of material changes.
